This came in the episode (9/18/2020) of the "From Washington" program, which asked about how the Americans view the future of the Israeli-UAE-Bahraini normalization agreements while they are on the verge of a pivotal presidential election?

Do they expect President Donald Trump to be more interested in achieving the Palestinians' desire for independence if he wins a second term?

Abu Irsheed added that the Israeli annexation process will lead to a return to the square of failure once again, noting that peace has not been achieved for the Palestinians even under the administration of an American president who was more sympathetic to them, in reference to former President Barack Obama.

Abu Irsheed attributed the failure of the Palestinians to obtain a state so far to the Israeli intransigence and the complicity of the American administrations with the Israeli side, as these administrations did not provide an acceptable offer to the Palestinians, or a fair solution for them.

For his part, Republican political analyst Sol Annouzis went on to say that all parties want to achieve peace in the Middle East, and when President Trump was elected he promised to achieve peace, and this is what he did in the overall picture.

He considered that the Americans do not pay much attention to foreign relations, but they want to achieve peace in the Middle East and do not want America to play the role of the international policeman.

He indicated that a two-state solution could be reached, and Palestine would have its own state, and also for Israel, considering that the Americans want peace to come to the Arab world and for an agreement to be reached between Israel and Palestine.

Despite all the efforts of the extremist left who want to see an American revolution, Americans want there to be friendly relations between the American components, as well as the Arab world.

In turn, the former US envoy to the Middle East peace process, Martin Indyk, said that the United States would influence Israel, as it had previously returned Sinai to Egypt and solve the Jordanian-Israeli conflict. As for the Palestinians, America wants to influence them to achieve their demands, but the Trump administration decided to make clear decisions. It serves Israeli interests.

He added that this administration may not play a fair role in the Arab-Israeli conflict, because it does not deal in a balanced manner with the two parties, noting that previous US administrations were based on the principle of the existence of broad lines to resolve the conflict on the basis of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, living side by side with Israel.
