A large truck caught fire on the Shejiang section of Guangdong Shankun Expressway and the driver died

After receiving the alarm, Meizhou Fire quickly dispatched 19 firefighters and 3 fire trucks to the scene.

The firefighters did not clean up the residual fire at the scene until 1:48 on the 18th. The accident caused the driver to die.

　　On the evening of the 17th, after firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a large truck near the exit of the Shejiang Expressway crashed into the high-speed roadside guardrail. The truck was loaded with a large number of plastic toys. The front of the truck was severely crashed and a fire broke out and ignited the cargo in the cabin.

At the scene of the accident, firefighters were extinguishing the fire.

　　According to the situation at the scene, the firefighters were divided into two groups: one group extinguished the fire on the container truck; the other group was responsible for destroying the deformed cab to search and rescue the driver (the cab was deformed and burned).

The firefighters tried their best to control the fire and removed the cargo. They removed fifteen oxygen and helium cylinders from the carriage, and contacted the vehicle company by telephone. They learned that there was a driver in the vehicle and no other personnel.

The firefighters were unable to remove the driver's cab to confirm the situation of the personnel due to the severe crash of the cab and heavy smoke at the scene.

　　At around 0:30 on the 18th, firefighters found a charred corpse in the driving position of the truck. Medical staff at the scene confirmed that there was no sign of life. The firefighters assisted in the removal through demolition.

Due to the large amount of cargo on the container truck, the firefighter called at 1:15 on the same day to hook the machine, and under the cover of a water gun, all the burning cargo was cleared from the container compartment and put out the fire.

Until 1:48, the residual fire at the scene was cleared and handed over to the traffic police.
