The sad count continues at the Gloriande de Sévérac d'Aveyron nursing home.
The Occitanie Regional Health Agency and the Aveyron Prefecture announced this Thursday in a press release that the number of residents who died and tested positive for the coronavirus has increased from 10 to 12.
The first cases of Covid-19 in this public establishment were detected on September 4.
This Thursday, 41 residents are still positive, four of whom are hospitalized at Rodez hospital.

“To ensure everyone's safety, all residents are confined to their rooms and close monitoring of changes in their state of health is carried out by the nursing and service staff.
At this stage, the protected unit of 12 residents suffering from neurodegenerative diseases and behavioral disorders remains completely spared, ”indicate the health authorities.
