New Corona Infected Person Information Aggregation "HER-SYS" to Start Operation in All Local Governments September 17, 15:07

The country's new system "HER-SYS", which aggregates information on people infected with the new coronavirus, is expected to be put into operation in all target municipalities next month.

It will be a little over two months behind the original schedule.

"HER-SYS" is a new system that allows health centers and medical institutions to enter information on people infected with the new coronavirus using the Internet, and has been introduced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare since May.

Currently, it is operated by most of the 155 local governments that have health centers, but Minato-ku, Tokyo has asked the government to take action, saying that "it cannot be determined whether personal information is sufficiently protected."

For this reason, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has been able to improve the system so that it can be connected from a network line dedicated to local governments, and it is clear from interviews with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare that Minato Ward is making adjustments in the direction of starting operation next month. I did.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare wanted to start operation in all the target local governments by the end of July, but it will be about two months behind the original schedule.

On the other hand, regarding "HER-SYS", the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is urgently responding because it is still unusable for analysis of infection status because it is necessary to confirm the accuracy of the input data.
