On September 15th, the "Cantonese Cuisine Master" Youth Innovation Competition in Panyu District, Guangzhou was launched. The competition attracted young Cantonese chefs from catering companies and cooking schools. After the competition, 42 contestants entered the final with 84 dishes.

  At the final scene, 42 contestants were divided into two groups, "Chinese cooking" and "Chinese pastry", competing on-site skills and competing for the championship.

The contestants completed the designated dishes and self-selected dishes within the designated time, and each showed that they were able to carefully make a variety of dishes and snacks with delicious flavors and show their skills.

  The organizer invited 6 guests from the industry to serve as judges. The judges rated the color, fragrance, taste, shape, utensils, nutrition, creativity, difficulty, food hygiene and safety, and on-site operation specifications of the participating varieties.

  In the end, "Lotus Pond Moonlight" and "Longteng Sihai" won the titles of "Chinese Pastry" and "Chinese Cooking" respectively.

  As the center of the Pearl River Delta, Panyu has a rich cultural heritage of Cantonese cuisine.

Panyu's food is authentic, not eating from time to time, paying attention to health preservation, making the best use of the material, and inclusive, carrying forward the Cantonese cuisine culture in inheritance, forming the golden sign of "Food in Guangzhou tastes in Panyu".

At present, there are more than 20,000 catering companies in Panyu District, and food culture has become the business card of Panyu cultural tourism.
