Faced with the coronavirus epidemic and confinement, the number of teleconsultations literally exploded two years after its creation.

To talk about it, Sébastien Krebs received Stanislas Niox-Chateau, co-founder and CEO of Doctolib, for whom the situation promises a cheerful future for his site.

After a very timid start at the beginning of Doctolib with nearly 100,000 consultations in the first year, the platform has observed a meteoric increase with 4 million views nothing during the last six months.

Its website and its application allow patients to find a doctor to make an appointment or do a teleconsultation.

It is this last practice that literally blew up the counters since the confinement last March.

"We multiplied by 50 the number of teleconsultations during confinement. Today, we are still on figures ten times higher than the period of January-February", notes the entrepreneur who analyzes a new rebound of teleconsultations on the ten last days.

Teleconsultation is also widely used. for psychiatrists and psychologists. And finally to consult specialists such as dermatologists, pediatricians, gynecologists. "
