Next year, an online tour was held in Matsue City on the 15th to let children entering elementary school know what the elementary school is like.

The online tour was held by "Tamachi Children's Garden" in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, and 54 children scheduled to enter elementary school next year participated.



This children's garden holds a tour every June at the nearby Magoromo Elementary School, but this was canceled due to the effects of the new coronavirus.



On the screen installed in the Children's Garden, the state of the elementary school connected online was projected, and Principal Jiro Nakamura explained the school life while guiding the school, and also introduced the state of the math class of the second grader.



After that, the children asked questions such as "What kind of place is the elementary school?" And "Is your brother or sister kind?", And the principal answered each one carefully.



A 6-year-old girl who participated said, "I enjoyed the online tour. I want to do math in elementary school."



Konatsu Moriwaki, a nursery teacher at Tamachi Children's Garden, said, "I'm glad I was able to actually get to know the school because the children had been looking forward to it for days."
