The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that it has confirmed that 80 new people are infected with the new coronavirus in Tokyo, according to preliminary figures as of 3:00 pm on the 14th.
It is the first time since the 7th of this month that the number of confirmed infections per day has dropped below 100.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Tokyo to 23,083.
