According to the latest data available from the ARS, on September 8, the department was then the most affected in Paca, just after Bouches-du-Rhône, with an incidence rate of 131.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Are hospitals saturated?

The white plan has been reactivated to prevent a rise in the number of Covid-19 patients, but for the moment the hospitals are not saturated.

As of September 8, 99 people were hospitalized in establishments on the Riviera, or 31 more in a week.

Since Friday, a decree provides for a fine of 135 euros in the event of non-compliance with this instruction in eight municipalities: Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Grasse, Le Cannet, Menton, Saint-Laurent-du-Var , Vallauris, Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Mougins, Vence, Villeneuve-Loubet, Beausoleil, Valbonne, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Carros and La Trinité.

The town hall of Nice has decided to no longer authorize visits to its Ehpads and to limit the number of guests at weddings.
