Louis Vuitton will launch into the marketing of a visor making it possible to respect barrier gestures.

The luxury brand designed the LV Shield (“shield”).

This is a visor that could be sold around 800 euros, according to the indiscretions of Vogue and HypeBeast relayed by BFMTV.

The product imagined by Vuitton is a protective plastic visor, adorned with golden studs, attached to an elastic strap which obviously has the famous monogram, signature of the Parisian luxury house.

This strap fits around the head.

The protection is photosensitive, so the screen darkens depending on the brightness.

As such, the mask can pivot on the head and act as a visor.

What about efficiency?

The LV Shield is, according to a Vuitton press release, "an eye-catching accessory, both stylish and protective".

It is scheduled to be marketed from October 30 on the luxury brand's website and in some of its stores.

If the luxury house opted for a visor, according to a recent study by researchers at the University of Florida, plastic visors and masks with valves would protect less against Covid-19.

Particles can indeed be projected despite the visor.
