The agricultural sector in France occupies a large place, with 450,000 farms, employing 885,400 farmers.

However, we are forecasting a catastrophic year for agriculture in 2020.

Bad wheat harvests, catastrophic forecasts for corn, dry meadows: grain farmers and breeders are sounding the alarm.

Publicity

After a particularly wet winter, the drought announces a black year for agriculture.

These very unfavorable weather conditions mean that yields are historically low this year.

For wheat, there is a 25% drop in harvests, a 36% drop in yield for rapeseed, and a 10% drop for sheepmeat.
