Activating the law and tightening penalties are the best solution to control the wrong negative practices, and the continuous violations that we see on a daily basis on social media, whether those related to violating instructions and protocols to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus, or those negative practices and behaviors that violate the laws of the state and the traditions of society.
This is what Dubai Police are doing, graciously and appreciating, these days, and it is the correct procedure that will put points on the letters, and eliminate many abnormal behaviors, harmful to society, and in violation of the law, and it undoubtedly needs at this time the help, support and cooperation of all individuals Society, in two important matters, the first is to report the violations and abuses they see in the shops, restaurants and stores, by the available legal methods, and within the many means approved by the police for this purpose, or to fully adhere to all precautionary measures and laws related to curbing the spread of the new Corona virus, which is the matter. The second.
Most of us saw that "Asian" who danced in a humiliating manner, wearing Emirati dress, in a cafe full of people stacked in a way that was devoid of any obligation to make physical distancing, and there is no doubt that his behavior was harmful to the eyes, heart, and feelings, and everyone who saw him wished that his action did not pass It is a disgraceful act, as it is an indecent and public act, which is criminalized by the law.
This is exactly what the Dubai Police did, so they did not let this act pass without a deterrent measure, so they arrested everyone who deserves punishment, starting with that young man who carried the lewd dance, then the person who photographed the clip and posted it on social media, then took strict action regarding the café Which was closed, for not adhering to the precautionary measures stipulated by law!
Yes, all of them deserve punishment. Whoever committed a blatant public act, and who photographed a clip, and published a visual material on an information network that might harm public morals, and who allowed all of this to happen, after violating instructions and procedures approved by the state, the most important of which is the commitment to social distancing, in order to preserve The safety of people, and combating the spread of the Corona virus.
Everyone is responsible, this is the slogan of the current stage, everyone is responsible for reporting any negative practices, behaviors that amount to criminalization and condemnation, and require the intervention of the police and the authorities concerned, and everyone is responsible for choosing the form, method and method for reporting violations, and let us make sure not to report the violation or crime With a violation or other crime, the legal methods for informing the competent authorities are known and clear, and direct posting on social media is not among them, but in itself it is a violation and a crime!
And everyone is responsible today for fully adhering to the known precautionary measures, the most important of which is physical spacing, wearing masks, and not crowding in public places, and I never think that these three steps are difficult to implement, as they are easy to implement matters, but they are important and very necessary in order to control the spread of the virus. It is not in anyone’s interest to raise the numbers in a worrying manner, and it is not in anyone’s interest to force the government to take more severe and firm measures, and it has the right to do so if society does not respond!
