Traditional teaching method between students Burden on junior students Takarazuka Music School reviewed September 12, 18:34

Takarazuka Music School in Hyogo Prefecture, which trains the future Takarazuka, is a tradition that has been passed down among students, where senior students teach junior students one-on-one and greet the trains that senior students may be riding. It turned out that we are reviewing the traditional teaching method because it is burdensome for junior students.

The Takarazuka Music School is a two-year system with 40 students enrolled in each grade and takes vocal and ballet lessons, but senior students teach junior students how to clean the school building and how to live.

According to the school, in Ototoshima, senior students traditionally chose junior students to form a one-on-one pair and taught for one year, but a few years ago, the school investigated because there were junior students who were ill. However, it turned out that some junior students were charged with excessive submissions.

For this reason, the school decided to review it as a burden on junior students, and from April last year, instructed students to teach in groups of 10 or more people, and prepared a system to consult with counselors. ..

In addition, greetings to the Hankyu train, which senior students may be riding, which has been passed down among students as "Yokagoto", and wrinkles between the eyebrows in front of senior students. We have also made improvements in the expression of lowering the corners of the mouth, and now it is almost non-existent.

Takarazuka Music School says, "The way society thinks about harassment and strict hierarchical relationships is changing, and we want to make improvements in line with the times while respecting the school's traditions."
