The report stated that at 17:00 on September 11, a case of deliberate injury and death occurred near the old farmer’s market in Zhajiang Town, Hengyang County. The victim Peng Mou (male, 76 years old, from Yulin Village, Zhajiang Town) was sent to the hospital. He died after rescue.
After preliminary investigation, at 17:00 that day, the victim Peng was chatting with the suspect Hu (male, 42 years old, from Mulin Village, Zhajiang Town) on the wooden sofa in front of him, and found an empty cigarette case on the ground. Hu gave the accusation, Hu immediately denied it, got up to insult Peng, slapped Peng several times, and slapped Peng on the back of the wooden sofa, causing Peng to be hit on the back of his head. He was sent to Hengyang County. No. 2 People's Hospital died at 6 o'clock in the morning on the 12th.
At present, the suspect Hu has been criminally detained by the public security organs, and the case is under further investigation.
