"I need to play"
.
Bertrand Traoré has a message to convey.
In an interview with RFI correspondent in Burkina Faso Gabriel Barrois, the Burkinabè winger, passing through Ouagadougou, expressed his dissatisfaction.
Since his missed shot against Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de la Ligue final on July 31, Bertrand Traoré has not taken part in any of OL's five matches.
What to encourage him to leave:
"A departure is not to be excluded.
I spent three years in Lyon.
I spent two beautiful years.
The third was a bit more complicated.
It's part of the life of a professional footballer.
Now I have two years of contract left.
I am 25 years old, I have played everywhere I have been.
If my situation in Lyon doesn't change, I can't stay on the bench all the time.
I need to play.
I have no time to waste, I am no longer an 18, 19 or 20 year old player ”
.
"
The message was quite clear
"
Arrived in Lyon in 2017 from Ajax Amsterdam, the Burkinabè international has indeed played a lot during his first two seasons under the orders of Bruno Génésio.
But, when Rudi Garcia replaced Sylvinho in October 2019, his playing time declined.
“As soon as the coach arrived, it was clear,”
says Traoré to our correspondent in Burkina Faso.
He put me two games in a row on the bench.
The third I was in the gallery.
I think the message was pretty clear.
He has his preferences, he made his choices.
I respect ”
.
Bertrand Traoré, author of 13 goals in 31 Ligue 1 games in his first year, only scored one in 22 games last season.
The winger, looking for a rebound, could relaunch his career in England.
