The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf condemned the statements and transgressions of some Palestinian factions that were reported on official Palestinian television, which requires an official apology for the deliberate offense and incitement.
This language of insult and frivolity is very similar to what happened 30 years ago.
The participants are members of the factions - and this is their first meeting in nine years - Imagine the first meeting in a decade!
All of them are from an old generation with outdated ideas that we have seen nothing but failure.
These statements were accompanied by an arrogant tone that does not at all fit the dictionary of politics and diplomacy.
Especially the word: We taught them!
This official gives us education as if Yale, Stanford, Oxford and Cambridge universities are in his lands!
Do not be surprised, as he did not update his information and does not know that many of the UAE students graduated from the most prestigious scientific edifices in the West, do not forget this is the first meeting in a decade!
In the first meeting in a decade, we say to those gathered: Review yourselves, what have you done in a decade?
How many young Palestinians emigrated because of your fighting and your fights against each other.
We tell them that you failed and succeeded because of your obstinacy and missed opportunities.
We say review yourselves within a decade, and come watch our achievements during the same period.
Learn from us how to build, develop and develop, instead of holding two meetings in a contract and uttering a foolishness that is never your right and requires an apology.
You have no right to criticize the decisions of our sovereign state. We conclude a peace agreement with Israel because our leadership applies political realism. It has learned history and reads the future, and knows that we are living in a new and changing Middle East in which only the real escapes. As for those who hold two meetings in a contract, there is no place for them.
Your cause has suffered and bored from you. You traffickers are indifferent even to your people, who do not deny the merit of the UAE over them, and thank the state for its honorable stances towards the Palestinian cause, which are not disputed by rational people.
The president admitted that the reason for the quarrel between those parties is meaningless, and said that they will unite and rise up and do not want anyone's help or interference.
Nice words, but if this is the goal, why offend us?
Why ingratitude and ungratefulness.
Our diplomatic achievements will not harm you, and the world will remember that we made peace and wrote new pages of history, and it will remember that you divided, quarreled and met twice in a decade!
The UAE-Israeli peace agreement reminds me of the 1972 policy of openness to China, one of the most important achievements of political realism in the past decade, which was the brainchild of Henry Kissinger's diplomat, and without it the economic relations between Washington and Beijing would not have flourished.
A final word: The sister kingdom of Bahrain took a realistic, historic and strategic step on Friday evening by agreeing to a peace agreement with Israel.
This is the biggest proof that the Middle East is changing.
