A dramatic turn of events as we like them!

The third episode of

Koh-Lanta, the 4 lands

broadcast Friday on TF1 ended with the elimination of Diane.

The twenty-something saw nothing coming.

And for good reason: it is Estelle that she and her acolytes of the orange team, that of the West, had decided to eliminate.

What they did not know is that the quadra had found an immunity collar a few hours earlier.

A deal that she obviously played, knowing that she was in the hot seat.

It was therefore with a single vote against her - that of Estelle - that Diane was condemned to leave the game.

“Frankly, at the time, I didn't understand.

I was stunned.

When Denis Brogniart put out my torch, I turned around and saw my teammates in tears.

I started to cry, I was KO standing, ”recalled Diane

20 Minutes

reached by phone Thursday.

The real estate agent from Pyrénées-Atlantiques has "digested" things since the filming which took place in the fall of 2019. "I would have liked it to have happened differently, but there is much more serious", admits -she, by evoking the death of Bertrand-Kamal, one of the other adventurers of this season, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer on Wednesday (see box).

"I had very strong words against Estelle"

Nevertheless, at the end of the immunity council, Diane summoned her comrades to avenge her, by eliminating Estelle as soon as possible.

“I had very strong words, she laments today.

But I really didn't expect to go out.

I had tried to support Estelle, but obviously she did not understand me.

"

Diane assures

20 Minutes that

she simply intended to play "the mediator" at the end of the comfort test, in which the candidates of the Western tribe finished third.

"The others reproached her for having panicked on the raft and she claimed to have given everything, that she could not have done better," says Diane.

I advised her to say instead that she hadn't been on top but that she would do better next time, that it was okay to underperform.

I tried to talk to her properly, but she didn't feel it like that.

"

Indeed, if the sequence broadcast on TF1, more or less sticks to this description, it can be interpreted differently.

Estelle appears in her little shoes, her head bowed and her voice frail, pushed to its limits by her younger sister.

After their exchange on the beach, Estelle isolated herself to cry, feeling sorry that the others held her solely responsible for her team's poor result.

The 47-year-old Norman took revenge at the opportune moment, with her immunity collar.
