Bruce Springsteen has announced the release of a new album,
Letter to You
, an album recorded live in his
New Jersey
studio
in collaboration with the
E Street Band
and with which he returns to the path of rock.
This new work will be published on October 23 and has already advanced its first single, with the same title.
The album has been recorded in five days.
"I love the emotional nature of
Letter to You
and I am fascinated by the sound of the E Street Band playing live in the studio, in a way that we have never done before," the singer declares in a statement, noting that there has not been " re-recordings "on the album, their twentieth studio work that will be" an album of pure and authentic rock. "
"We did it in just five days and it was one of the best recordings I have ever had in my life," he adds.
The disc will include nine previously unreleased songs, plus three rerecorded tracks from Springsteen's first studio album,
Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ
