Emotion, from the start of the show.

This Friday evening, as a preamble to the third episode of

Koh-Lanta, the 4 lands

, Denis Brogniart paid tribute to Bertrand-Kamal Loudrhiri, one of the adventurers of this season, who died on Wednesday following pancreatic cancer.

“He was going to be 31 years old.

He was a man who radiated good humor, a hymn to joy, a rare being who united around him, "said the host of the TF1 adventure game at the start of this two-minute video, broadcast just before the start of the program.

“It was his dream to participate in

Koh-Lanta

, it was granted”, he continued before confiding that the one who was nicknamed “Béka” had become one of his friends.

“[He was] a loved one with whom I shared so many special moments.

He moved me in Fiji [where

Koh-Lanta

was filmed at the

end of 2019], he upset and impressed me then, greeted the presenter.

Despite the suffering, he kept his good humor, his altruism, his kindness and his tolerance.

Until a few days ago he was worried about others.

He managed to smile, to joke.

He believed until the end that he would succeed in conquering this cancer which was eating him away.

"

"I keep your sparkling eyes with me forever"

“His life was much too short, but so rich and happy (…).

He dreamed of going on stage alone, he wrote with a skin-deep sensitivity, ”continued Denis Brogniart before addressing his thoughts to Bertrand-Kamal's family.

The host concluded on a more intimate note: “My Beka, I keep with me forever your sparkling eyes, our daily exchanges when it was hard.

I will never forget you.

We will never forget you.

(…) I love you.

"

TF1 and the ALP production have decided to dedicate this Koh-Lanta season to Bertrand-Kamal, in agreement with his family.

At the end of August, Bertrand-Kamal, originally from Dijon, spoke to the daily

Le Bien Public about

 his fight against cancer.

“I prefer to say it.

I have no shame with it.

(...) The trials are not yet over on my side, ”he confided, specifying that he had fallen ill after the shooting of the adventure game.
