Red and white singing battle to hold the first uncrowded audience at the new Corona 18:25 on September 10

For the first time, the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen, which will be broadcast on the air of Koshino, will be held with no audience to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

This was announced at the regular meeting by NHK Chairman Maeda.

As a result, the Kouhaku Uta Gassen, which will be broadcast quietly at Koshino, will be held in a form that does not allow the audience to enter the NHK Hall to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

In addition, in order to prevent the infection of the performers and staff, we will take thorough measures such as avoiding crowding as much as possible, and we are also examining ways to effectively utilize the space created by the absence of spectators.

This is the first time that the Red and White Uta Gassen is held with no audience.

Koshinoshino Kouhaku Uta Gassen will be broadcast from 7:30 pm to 11:45 pm in Omisono.
