Since the start of the rainy season in the Sahelian strip, floods and floods have caused extensive human and material damage.

And for the past week, the bad weather has intensified forcing many populations to leave their homes.

From Dakar to Niamey via Khartoum and Nigerian Borno, governments are trying to limit losses, often with difficulty.
