In Nanjiang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, on the border of Sichuan and Shaanxi, there is a Yuanding Mountain at an altitude of 1,400 meters. Yuanding Primary School in the mountain is a well-known "left-behind children's home". In the school, there is a couple named Chen Guo, Zhang Rong's "post-70s" teacher couple.
In the past 20 years, he has voluntarily taken care of the study and life of nearly 1,000 left-behind children while teaching.
They get up at 6 a.m. every morning and start to be busy. In addition to normal teaching, they also have to take care of the life of the students in full-time care. They cannot rest until the children are asleep at night. Sometimes they have to take care of sick students and stay up all night, weekends and holidays. Exceptionally, it helped more than 100 families of impoverished left-behind children to get rid of poverty, so that 72 single children can enjoy "parental love" and "maternal love", which are called "fruit father" and "mother Zhang" by students.
With their dedicated care, the growth of these left-behind children deep in the mountains is no longer monotonous and lonely. They live in a big loving family in Wen Wei, and more than 60 students have become students in key universities across the country.
From running a family school to becoming a teacher in Yuanding Village Elementary School, their income has not been high, but they have not collected the care fees for these left-behind children. Although they live a poor life, they have not shaken their persistence.
