On September 10, 1955, Soviet and Russian singer Larisa Dolina was born. She made her stage debut at the age of 12. In 1971, Dolina began performing with the We Are Odessites pop orchestra. The artist has released over 20 studio albums. Songs performed by her can be heard in many Soviet films: "Princess of the Circus", "Magicians", "The Man from the Boulevard of the Capuchins". Dolina also tried her hand at acting: she played Clementine Fernandez in Karen Shakhnazarov's musical comedy We Are From Jazz.
