Belarus should blaze and burn.

So our overseas "partners" conceived, this was the desire of the closest neighbors - the Poles, and the Ukrainian non-brothers also really wanted this: not alone to wander through the ruins of factories built under the USSR.

Therefore, there is not the slightest reason to believe that what is happening now in Minsk will suddenly subside as suddenly as it began.

Not.

Logs will be thrown into the fire of the Belarusian "Maidan" very actively.

If the fire goes out, the coals will blow up vigorously.

Their goal is absolutely clear and understandable: Belarus must be completely cut off from Russia.

The former establishment has been harshly lustrated and expelled from the country.

The new one is clearly oriented towards the West.

Belarusian should become the main language, and Russian should be overthrown and forgotten.

The general history is blacked out.

People's consciousness is completely reformatted.

No half-measures are assumed, all stories about the absence of cave Russophobia and the impossibility of such are tales and soothing conversations in favor of the poor in order to lull vigilance.

In Ukraine, in 2014, we were also told that people came out exclusively against Yanukovych.

We remember and never forget what happened next.

The rapidly developing scenario of recent days - intrigues with the escape, detention and disappearance of the leaders of the Belarusian opposition - is a necessary plot twist in the general scenario, which its authors will try with all their might to implement.

Do they really care about the fate of Maria Kolesnikova?

The cynicism of the situation is that no, nobody cares.

Kolesnikova in this case is a consumable, the same as her escaped associates, like Tikhanovskaya.

This is precisely the biggest mistake made by the opposition in any country, wherever there is a “maidan” using “color technologies”.

For some reason they think that the West appreciates them for their unyielding will and their ideals, not realizing that the Western special services are deeply indifferent to their fate, their well-being, high aspirations, and so on.

For big brother, they are just cogs of a mechanism that is running and should work.

If the part is broken or lost, then a new one will simply be supplied.

Yes, undoubtedly, new parts are costly: they must either be found or machined, but nevertheless this is just a technical task, not burdened with at least some moral and ethical components.

Again, remember Ukraine or the "Arab Spring".

Did anyone there appreciate the performers?

Not.

In this regard, what is the point of having conversations-experiences-investigations about what actually happened to Kolesnikova?

What practical exhaust and result do we want to see in the final?

From a human point of view, of course, it is a great pity for this woman who fell into the millstones of a big game, but, on the other hand, it was her quite deliberate choice.

In this case, we are talking about the big game, because we are interested in these results.

So far, in connection with the latest events, we have equal opportunities: either the protests are intensifying with renewed vigor and with new leaders, or, on the contrary, will come to naught due to the absence of real leaders.

The first opportunity is what the authors of this play dream about.

The second is an unpleasant difficulty, but, as we said, quite surmountable.

There are no irreplaceable ones.

There will still be protests: if the scenario is running, it must be played out to the end.

This is the fact from which we should proceed.

Tikhanovskaya's speech at PACE is expected and logical.

How little have we heard Ukrainian leaders in similar conditions in the same halls, lecture halls, offices?

Against this background, the speech of the deputy of the Belarusian parliament Andrei Savinykh (on the same site with a detailed account of the events taking place in the country) about disinformation, psychological methods, manipulations, the coordination of protest actions by foreign structures and, in general, about the implementation of the mechanism of "color revolutions" in Belarus looks very naive.

The sheep gathered to tell the wolves about the injustice of the rules of hunting and the unacceptability of using lamb for food.

Which, of course, does not negate the need to voice and declare the truth in any case - it must be voiced at least for the record, for history.

Why doesn't Tikhanovskaya demand a recount?

Because the majority voted for Lukashenka.

What are the demands for non-recognition of the elections?

Because in this case, in the current situation, the opposition already has a serious chance of winning.

Whatever we may say in Russia about Lukashenka and his mistakes, connected, for example, with connivance to Belarusian nationalism and his attempts to sit on several chairs at once, he turned out to be a strong leader, capable of holding the situation and admitting mistakes.

What are his trips to factories, where he invariably received not the warmest welcome, to put it politely.

Statements that yes, he may have been too late, that there will be reforms and changes are needed.

He was able to recognize and realize that only with Russia Belarus can be truly free and prosperous, and everything else - from the evil one.

And, of course, only Lukashenka is currently able to protect Belarus from collapse, blood, civil war.

There are simply no other opportunities in the foreseeable future (at least in the coming months).

Let's not forget about the monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in Belarus, preserved and in excellent condition, about the Victory Parade, about the historical memory that Belarus has sacredly venerated all these years - just like we do.

Let's be honest: this is largely the merit of the same Lukashenka.

He did not allow the collapse of his country in the 1990s, he kept production, did not allow looting.

And you can't write off all these indisputable merits overnight.

With all the clarity of the ideas of our Western opponents regarding Belarus, we also have our own clear ideas about what is happening.

Belarus is undoubtedly the territory of our influence.

Strategic territory in terms of security issues.

In addition, in terms of mentality, Belarusians are practically us.

The "Maidan" in Belarus is almost automatically an opportunity and inspiration for the "Maidan" in Russia.

Belarus is a state allied to us, and we have mutual obligations.

Yes, the situation will heat up in the near future.

But "color technologies" in Belarus were suppressed in time and will not work.

According to the Ukrainian scenario, the "Maidan" in Belarus will not work out unambiguously - there is no doubt about that.

Moreover, as often happens - there would be no happiness, but misfortune helped.

What is happening in Belarus has undoubtedly become a powerful catalyst for integration processes for our two states.

And who knows, maybe after a very short time we will live in completely different conditions.

Russia and Belarus are brothers forever, to be together is our destiny.

It remains to help her come true.

And I really want to hope that after the events in Belarus and the experience gained as a result, we will finally reconsider our view of events in the entire post-Soviet space and will begin to act in our national interests.

Their own and post-Soviet republics.

Because our common national interests are to be together.
