Johanna is going to Dundee, England to study, but she can't pay for the transportation expenses of her partner, 14-year-old Hechizo, for 2,000 pounds (about 17,946 yuan), and she can't stand the long separation from Pony.
So Johanna took her pony from Germany to Scotland, England, and walked 2500 miles (about 4,023 kilometers) on foot so that she could keep the pony by her side during her studies.
As part of her graduation thesis, Johanna will study barley breeding in Dundee for 6 months.
She set off from Germany in February and put her luggage in a small horse-drawn car along the way.
