Tokyo Metropolitan Komagome Hospital 3 newly infected patients including infection confirmed New Corona September 8 20:58

Since three nurses were infected with the new coronavirus, three new infections were confirmed at the Tokyo Metropolitan Komagome Hospital in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, which was inspecting relevant persons, including inpatients, doctors and nurses.

At Tokyo Metropolitan Komagome Hospital in Bunkyo Ward, on September 4, three nurses working in the internal medicine ward were confirmed to have been infected, and doctors, nurses, and inpatients in the same ward were being examined.

As a result, by September 8, a total of 3 new infections were confirmed: one inpatient in his 40s, a male doctor in his 30s, and a female nurse in his 40s.

The hospital continues to take steps to stop accepting new inpatients in this ward.

The hospital decided to investigate the infection route, saying that "nosocomial infection cannot be denied".

The male doctor also worked in another ward, so the hospital plans to carry out an examination of 87 patients including inpatients, doctors, and nurses in this ward.
