According to NME, the management warns that the Royal Albert Hall may be closed for good next year if help is not forthcoming.

Since the venue was closed in March due to the corona pandemic, it has lost 18 million pounds in revenue, equivalent to about 208 million kronor, and also been forced to pay back the equivalent of 75 million kronor for tickets.

The Royal Albert Hall has no opportunity to take part in the emergency packages issued by the British government to the cultural area.

Management has instead been asked to take out a government loan to secure the business, but the loan will not be paid out until December.
