On the morning of the 8th, at a bus stop in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, a fixed-route bus started with a woman in her 80s getting stuck between the doors, and the woman was dragged a few meters and her arm was slightly injured.

According to the police, at around 9:45 am on the 8th, when a 82-year-old woman got off the route bus at the Aokidaira bus stop of the Fujikyu Shizuoka bus in Fujinomiya City, the cane she had in her right hand was caught in the door.



As the bus left as it was, the woman was dragged over several meters and fell, injuring her right arm.



According to the bus company, the doors for passengers getting on and off were opened and closed by the driver, and the safety confirmation of the 49-year-old male driver was insufficient.



Fujikyu Shizuoka Bus says, "We are very sorry for the injured person. We will instruct the crew members to thoroughly check the safety visually and try to prevent the recurrence."
