Did you miss the news from this early in the morning?

We have concocted a recap to help you see more clearly.

The Council of State validates, under conditions, the wearing of the mask

The Council of State won the case for the Prefects of Bas-Rhin and Rhône.

In two ordinances, the public institution largely ratified Sunday evening prefectural decrees imposing the general wearing of masks in Strasbourg, 12 other towns in the Bas-Rhin as well as in Lyon and Villeurbanne.

However, the Council of State attached conditions to its decision.

The perimeters concerned "must be delimited - and be justified - by the existence of several zones at high risk of contamination".

Thus, the prefect of Bas-Rhin must limit this obligation to the city center in certain less dense municipalities and the prefect of the Rhône must exclude from this constraint people practicing physical or sports activities.

Boris Johnson will not go beyond October 15 for deal with EU

As the eighth session of Brexit talks opens in London this week, the British Prime Minister is adopting a somewhat conciliatory tone towards European negotiators.

Boris Johnson must, according to his services, declare on Monday that the negotiations have entered their "final phase".

An agreement must therefore be found before October 15 to enter into force before the end of the year.

The United Kingdom is therefore prepared not to come to an agreement with the Union.

In the absence of an agreement before December 31, the only rules of the World Trade Organization would then apply.

Djokovic out of US Open for hitting a linesman

Intentional or unintentional gesture?

Novak Djokovic has just been disqualified from the US Open in his quarterfinal against Carreno-Busta for hitting a linesman.

Djokovic had just lost his serve and was led 6-5 by Pablo Carreno when, going to sit down, he struck without looking at the ball that was left in his hand towards the baseline.

The ball hit a linesman violently who let out a cry and fell, visibly hit in the neck.

If the Serbian player assures that he did not want without taking the judge, the organizers did not hear it that way.

The most serious contender for the final victory will therefore not lift the trophy this year.
