If the Olympia reopened its doors on Sunday evening, many venues are still postponing their decisions.

Because between the gauges to be respected and the differences between red and green zones, the organization remains very complicated.

Brigitte Fontaine's concert, Sunday evening at the Olympia, was eagerly awaited.

The singer was indeed the first to turn back the stage of the legendary Parisian venue, after 200 days of closure due to the coronavirus epidemic.

But if the good atmosphere reigned in the crowd, seated and distanced, few venues will imitate the Olympia in the coming weeks.

Coronavirus: follow the evolution of the situation Monday, September 7

The situation remains a headache for producers who rent venues for their artists.

First of all, the rules differ if the room is classified in a red zone or a green zone.

And the audience must be seated, which necessarily reduces the gauge.

Moreover, if too many tickets have been sold, the concert cannot be held.

And theaters are opening at a loss.

Rock or hip hop sitting down?

"Ridiculous"

All this requires a relentless organization, underlines Pierre-Alexandre Vertadier, director of Décibels Productions which takes care of artist tours.

"On Benjamin Biolay, for example, we will do it on a case-by-case basis because there are standing rooms, seated rooms. On Alain Souchon and Christophe Maé, we are preparing to restart at the end of October. It's a nightmare, but the problem is, the only solution is to do that or to do nothing and wait. "

Other producers prefer to take their troubles patiently.

For Dominique Revert, from Alias Production, for example, it's unthinkable to do a rock or hip hop seated concert.

"Concerts like Foals, or Muse in halls seated with masks, it's ridiculous," he says.

Because of all these constraints, the Zenith in Paris will not reopen for the moment, confides its director to Europe 1. Those in green zones, it is more possible, she said but nothing is yet scheduled.

Another solution: to do outdoor concerts like the Trabendo in Paris.

Problem: autumn and the cold are coming.
