Six new cases were cured and discharged, including four from the United Kingdom, one from the Philippines, and one from Senegal.

  Case 1 and Case 2 are Filipino crew members. They set off from the Philippines on August 5 and arrived in Shanghai on September 1 for ship repairs. They were quarantined and observed after entering the country, and symptoms developed during the period.

Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory test and imaging examination results, etc., were diagnosed as a confirmed case.

  Two confirmed imported cases abroad have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, 18 close contacts on the same ship have been tracked, and centralized isolation and observation have been implemented.

  From 0-24 o'clock on September 5, there were no new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Shanghai.

  As of 24:00 on September 5, Shanghai has reported a total of 576 imported confirmed cases abroad, 531 were cured and discharged, and 45 were treated in the hospital without severe or critical illness.
