Al-Fiqhi ridiculed the statement that the UAE is gaining strength from Israel, asserting that on the contrary, it has thrown itself in a swamp of mud, and that it has brought itself problems that were indispensable to it.

In statements to the "Beyond the News" program on (6/9/2020), Afqhi pointed out that Iran has extremely huge commercial relations with the Emirates, and that its investments there are estimated at billions, and therefore it is able to destroy the UAE's economy.

Afqhi stressed that the UAE’s bullying Israel will not protect it against any aggression it commits against the Islamic Republic, stressing that Tehran taught its Gulf neighbor a lesson more than once when it tried to infringe on Tehran’s rights and sovereignty.

And it did not hesitate to strike Washington in Ain Al-Assad in response to the killing of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.

Afqhi said that the Iranian officials informed their Emirati counterparts from the beginning that they fully knew the true intentions of rapprochement with Israel and brought it to the region, but the Emiratis were evasive and talked about state sovereignty.

According to the Iranian diplomat, the United States is the one who forced the UAE to enter into an alliance with Israel, otherwise it will meet unfortunate consequences, and in response to the allegations of the UAE’s pursuit of Israeli protection, Hokhi asked where the United States, which has dozens of bases in the region, went, stressing that America exists, and that Israel will wreak havoc, devastation and chaos in any region in it.

Kuwaiti writer and political analyst Hussein Jamal did not see the UAE's justifications for the alliance with Israel convincing. Rather, he saw that a dark future awaits the region to which Iran, Turkey and Israel were called.

Indeed, Gamal does not rule out, with this regional mobilization of regional powers, that the military confrontation between Iran and Israel will occur, a confrontation that previous US administrations have tried striving to avoid.

Regarding the news of the establishment of an Emirati-Israeli military base on the Yemeni island of Socotra, Hussein said that this confirms that the issue of the coalition has been arranged for some time, considering that the most terrifying part of this alliance is the military and security part of it, stressing that the UAE has no right to bring Israel to the region and endanger it.

And Jamal Hussein was surprised by the talk about Emirati-Iranian hostility in light of the trade exchange between them, which is the largest among all countries, and he also excluded the possibility that the UAE-Israeli alliance would weaken Iran, noting that the latter has withstood sanctions as has not happened with another country.

On the other hand, writer and political analyst Ali Nasereddin believes that the Emirati-Israeli alliance does not aim to attack Iran, but rather to protect the UAE and Arab countries from Iranian ambitions.

Nasser al-Din went on to affirm that the harm that Israel caused to Arabs throughout its 70 years of existence does not amount to the harm Iran has inflicted on Arabs since the Khomeini revolution in 1979.
