While Netflix just unveiled the trailer for
Emily in Paris
starring Lily Collins, many have seen an air of Carrie Bradshaw in the character played by the actress.
And for good reason, it is Darren Starr, the creator of
Sex and the City
and
Younger
, who is behind this series as Collider recalls.
Lily Collins therefore plays Emily, a Chicago marketing executive who gets a new job in the French capital.
As one can imagine, she will have to confront French customs while drinking champagne during very chic evenings with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
And of course, his heart will swing between a bunch of suitors who will not derogate from the clichés.
