September 4th, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, a commemorative event hosted by the Beijing Russian Cultural Center, the representative office of the Russian International Humanities Cooperation Agency, and supported by the Amur Region Branch of the Russian Military History Society Held in Beijing Russian Cultural Center.

  The Governor of Amur Region Orlov first expressed his congratulations to the event in the form of video.

Orlov said that at a time when Russia-China relations are at a high level, it is extremely important to preserve the historical memory of the end of the Second World War and the common heroes of the two countries. The anniversary exhibition is a memory and tribute to the war participants.

  Subsequently, Fadeev, the senior counselor of the Russian Embassy in China, said in his speech that Russia and China are the main participants in the battlefields in Europe and Asia, and the two peoples fight side by side to resist the threat of existence.

In today's complex international environment, the two countries share a common attitude towards the historical memory of this past conflict.

Russia and China do not allow any problematic practices that attempt to distort the historical truth of World War II.

  At the event site, in memory of all the victims of World War II, the audience stood up and observed a minute of silence.

  In addition, there was also an exhibition "Forever Remember" by the Novikov-Daulsk Local History Museum Foundation in Amur Region.

This exhibition aims to commemorate the end of the Second World War and the contributions of Amur fighters to the liberation of Northeast China, as well as the memory of the Soviet army that fell.
