On September 2, another video of an African American dying by police violence was released.

The video shows that in March, a 41-year-old African-American man, Daniel Prude, was crushed on the sidewalk by police on the streets of Rochester, New York, and died of suffocation for about 2 minutes.

According to reports, when he was arrested by the police, Prud was experiencing a mental illness.

During the arrest, the police put something called a "spit hood" (to prevent the police from spitting on the arrested person) on Prud's head.

Prud died of suffocation on the spot, but the incident was not made public until recently.

This incident occurred two months before the death of George Floyd, an African American man who caused a series of protests.
