The Independent Electoral Commission registered 45 candidatures for the Ivorian presidential election scheduled for October 31.
Among them, former President Laurent Gbagbo or even former Prime Minister Guillaume Soro, should not be allowed to stand.
It is therefore former President Henri Konan Bédié who appears to be the main challenger to the current Ivorian head of state Alassane Ouattara.
For Maurice Kakou Guikahué, executive secretary of the PDCI and campaign director for Henri Konan Bédié, a victory for Alassane Ouattara is unthinkable.
It is mathematical.
