The Community of Madrid has decided to
limit the capacity of "mass events" to 600 people
, which would leave in the air the celebration of the bullfights scheduled for Friday in Aranjuez or the one scheduled for Saturday in San Sebastián de los Reyes .
After the suspension of the festivities in Alcalá de Henares or the Tomavistas music festival, the Community of Madrid has restricted the capacity of this type of activities.
On Tuesday he made public the rule that toughened the criteria to give the green light to the celebration of "mass events."
In addition, from now on,
no more than 600 people will be able to attend
, as this newspaper has learned from sources who already know the CAM's decision.
Neither the Ministry of Health nor the Ministry of Justice, in charge of its resolution, have confirmed it.
Ayuso has warned this Wednesday that the regulations would change so that the capacity of the shows, including bullfighting,
are established with "objective criteria"
.
It is one of the measures included in the "return operation" to deal with the outbreaks of the coronavirus.
"Madrid is not for parties of any kind", said the president.
For the Community, "mass events are shows, fairs and all kinds of events related to social, hotel and restaurant, cultural, educational, training, sports, leisure, recreation or free time".
In addition to limiting access to no more than 600 people, "promoters" must provide the Ministry of Health for approval with a forecast of the percentage of attendees
"who come from other municipalities or from other autonomous communities of the venue."
They must also report
"on the percentage of vulnerable attendees
(elderly, chronically ill or in whom Sars-CoV- infection" may aggravate their condition ".
Among other measures, it is required to carry out
"an implementation of a registry that allows the identification of the attendees"
or
"if during the event food or drink will be consumed",
something common in bullrings.
In addition, they must advise if there is "possibility or not to maintain the physical safety distance of 1.5 meters at all times."
