[Explanation] Chuantuo is an ancient Chinese traditional skill. It is a skill that uses rice paper and ink to clearly copy the text or patterns on inscriptions and vessels.

The technique of transfer and extension is a unique way of preserving gold and stone documents in China. Nowadays, there are not many people who master this technique, and even fewer can achieve professional standards.

On September 2, the reporter met Liu Xiufeng, who has been engaged in communication and extension work for more than 30 years in Zhengding, Hebei.

He is using rice paper to spread a piece of Han brick depicting hunting pictures of aristocrats in the Han Dynasty.

Chuantuo is a traditional Chinese technique. There are more than a dozen types (types) in it, mainly including flat top, Ying top, full shape top, ink top and color top.

[Explanation] In 2019, Liu Xiufeng's transfer and extension skills were included in the Hebei Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

Over the past 30 years, Liu Xiufeng has created hundreds of rubbings, ranging from tiled tiles in the Qin and Han dynasties to monuments and statues in the past dynasties.

The ancient stele system is just a few pieces of gold and stone, which are full of ancient history, geography, military, and family situations (information). If it is passed down, it can fill the lack of national (historical documents) archives and supplement the information. (Profound) social significance.

[Explanation] Liu Xiufeng said that the most difficult part of the transfer is the full-shape extension. It requires the three-dimensional transfer and extension to be spread on the flat paper, but it must have a three-dimensional effect.

If you want to make a good rubbing, you have to draw the outline and the full-shape map after inspection, and rubbing little by little, so the foundation of painting is also essential.

Especially for characters and flowers (transition), we should highlight the light (contrast between light and dark), which is close to modern art. Especially when I see a portrait like Beiqi, if it is flattened, it will not look good, (transition) will be black. .

[Explanation] In Liu Xiufeng's view, everything can be extended, and transmission and extension can also be integrated into people's daily life.

Zhengding is a tourist city, and Liu Xiufeng used more than 20 ancient titles of Zhengding to make seals and rubbings together with a collection of poems and essays to promote the history and culture of Zhengding.

He also creatively added rubbing elements to the fan to make a rubbing folding fan and become a cultural and creative product.

At present, I am not worried about the inheritance of Chuantuo. The main reason is that through the reform and opening up (since) the antique market (prosperity), more and more people realize the importance of Chuantuo's skills, especially some young people. They come to learn, and they open doors to accept students. Some schools (colleges) often come to ask students to teach.
