Valérie Lemercier, Alex Lutz, Matthieu Noël, Leïla Slimani, Océan, Camélia Jordana ... It is a vocal cast of stars that offers 50 Shades of Greeks for its season 2, broadcast on Arte and already available on the website of chain. The animated series, adapted from the eponymous comic strip, plays with Greek mythology to point out the small flaws and the big evolutions of French society. The designer Jul returned to his creation on the program Culture Médias.

Saga of contemporary times
Revolt of the yellow vests (become "yellow fleeces" in a nod to the golden fleece of the Argonauts), liberation of the word on violence against women ... 50 Shades of Greeks attack head-on the news, always with humour. According to the designer, the terrain of Greek mythology lends itself particularly well to this analogy.
And particularly on the themes of sexuality, orientation and identity. "The Greeks already had a vision on all these gender questions which today agitate us a lot and seem very modern to us", explains the author, citing the Metamorphoses of Ovid and "Grec-Pride", the first episode of this season 2. But 50 Shades of Greek goes far beyond the debates of our society, having fun with the sexuality of gods capable of giving birth by the thigh.
Jul has also worked on Lucky Luke's next album, scheduled for October 23, 2020. He is also preparing a feature-length version of his comic book already adapted for the TV series Sylex and the city.
