Reality TV star Paris Hilton, in an excerpt from her new documentary, This is Paris - Ferrari / Starface

This week, Paris Hilton has revealed in detail the abuse she suffered as a teenager that is at the heart of This is Paris , a documentary due out on YouTube next month.

During the eleven months of her schooling at Provo Canyon School, a boarding school located in Utah, the heiress was "beaten" and even "strangled" by employees of the establishment. A trauma which then blurred her relationship with men and pushed her to "accept" abusive relationships.

From ancient history

“I accepted it because I almost thought it was normal. I was like things like, "He loves me so much that he's going crazy", and I wanted to be loved so badly that I was ready to accept being hit, being yelled at or being shouted at. 'strangles or a lot of other things,' Paris Hilton told the Sunday Times .

The reality TV star has since met her current boyfriend, Carter Reum, and everything seems to be fine. "Finally, I found the right man for me, someone with whom I want to stay for the rest of my life and with whom I want to start a family," she added, adding that they do not left each other more.
