At 17:30 on August 30th, Sichuan Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters issued a blue warning for mountain torrent disasters: From 20:00 on August 30 to 20:00 on 31st, 2020, Mianzhu, Shifang, Pengzhou, Dujiangyan, Chongzhou, Dayi, Qionglai , Wenchuan, Baoxing, Lushan, Mingshan, Tianquan, Yucheng, Yingjing, Hanyuan, Shimian, Luding, Hongya, Emeishan, Shawan, Jinkouhe, Ebian, Mabian, Ganluo, Yuexi, The counties (cities, districts) such as Meigu, Leibo, Yanyuan, and Yanbian may have flash flood disasters.
Requirements of Sichuan Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters:
1. Immediately notify the responsible persons of the towns, villages, and flash flood hazard areas, and all responsible persons must be in place immediately.
2. Pay close attention to weather forecasts, rainfall levels and warnings of dangerous areas.
3. Strengthen inspections in areas where flash flood disasters are dangerous.
4. In accordance with the "Procedures for Monitoring and Early Warning of Mountain Flood Disasters in Sichuan Province", strengthen monitoring and early warning, promptly initiate plans, timely and decisively transfer threatened people, and strengthen the safety supervision of transfer routes and resettlement areas.
