  At around 9:40 am on August 29, the Juxian Hotel in Chenzhuang Village, Taosi Township, Xiangfen County, Linfen City partially collapsed, causing many people to be buried. As of 18:52, 45 people had been rescued. Among them, 17 people were killed, 7 were seriously injured, and 21 were slightly injured. Currently, of the 28 wounded, 2 lightly wounded go home after treatment in the hospital, and the remaining 26 wounded are receiving treatment in the hospital.

  Zhang Bo, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Shanxi Provincial Health Committee, led two expert groups from Shanxi Province to four hospitals including Xiangfen County People’s Hospital, Xiangfen County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Linfen City People’s Hospital and Linfen Central Hospital.   There were 18 ambulances at the scene of the accident, including 15 in Xiangfen County, 3 ambulances transferred from the Linfen Emergency Center to the Central Hospital, 13 medical experts and more than 130 medical staff in Xiangfen County. (Finish)
