Jordan .. Arrest of an Olympic groom for 150 people

On Friday, the Jordanian authorities arrested a bridegroom who violated the decision to prevent the organization of parties and gatherings to limit the spread of the Corona virus, by holding a lunch feast for more than 150 people in the Balqa Governorate.

Local media quoted the governor of Balqa city, Nayef Al-Hidayat, as saying that immediate measures will be taken to tighten dealing with the phenomenon of gatherings and holding parties and violating events, in order to preserve the security of society and the safety of its members from the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

The Minister of Interior, Salama Hammad, had previously asked the administrative rulers to take the necessary "strictest measures" against the organizers of parties and large gatherings in social events, with numbers exceeding twenty people, and to arrest them administratively for a period of 14 days and not to sponsor them, whatever the reasons and justifications.
