"It is with immense sadness that we confirm the death of Chadwick Boseman," his agent wrote on Twitter overnight from Friday to Saturday. The American actor, who played Black Panther on screen, a film which had been a worldwide success at the box office, died of colon cancer at 43 years old.

"Playing King T'Challa in Black Panther had been the great honor of his career," according to a statement posted on Boseman's social media accounts. "He died at home, surrounded by his wife and his family," adds the text.
