According to the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office, Matsuura representative has conspired with a corporate officer, Kazuhiro Miyatake (49), who is an acquaintance of the House of Representatives Defendant Akimoto (48) who was charged with the corruption of the IR, and is a Chinese company on the bribery side. There is a suspicion of the acquisition of a witness who violates the organized crime punishment law, for example, when he tried to hand over a million yen in cash to a former counsel Katsunori Nakazato who tried to give a perjury in a trial.
According to a person involved, Miyatake said to the investigation, "Matsuura representative prepared the millions of yen of cash I tried to give to the former adviser," and the special investigation department is suspected that Matsuura representative was involved in the case. In the IR corruption case, Representative Akimoto was arrested for persuading another former Chinese corporate adviser on the bribery side to give perjury, and the special investigation department is expected to clarify the whole series of cases.
The Special Investigation Department has not revealed the approval or disapproval of Matsuura.
