Singer Cha Joong-gwang, who sang'My Eternal Home' and'My Love Mina', died at 3:41 pm on the 27th at the hospital in Jayang-dong, Seoul. 75 years old.

Cha Joong-gwang died after suffering from sepsis caused by heart failure metastasized from bladder cancer.

Born in Seoul in 1945, Cha Jung-gwang worked as a baseball player at Seongdong High School and Sungkyunkwan University. After that, in 1965, I began group activities with Insoo Park and others at the Itaewon Club.

After his brother Cha Jung-rak passed away after the war, he began his career as a singer at the invitation of the people around him. Cha Jung-rak is a former lead vocalist for the group sound'Key Voice' and is famous for'Love that followed the fallen leaves'. Cha Jung-yong, his younger brother, is also a musician who was active in the group'Guys and Dolls'.

Cha Joong-gwang officially debuted in 1969 with the song'My Eternal Home' in memory of his brother Cha Joong-rak, and was greatly loved by'My Love Mina'.

The son also plays rock music after his father. It is Cha Seung-woo, a guitarist from the bands'Nobrain','Moon Shiners' and'Monotones'. Cha Seung-woo inherited his father's talent and unfolded the world of music, creating a sensation in the indie scene. In 2008, he played an active part in the lead role in the movie'Gogo 70' with Jo Seung-woo.

Cha Seung-woo delivered the news of his father Cha Jung-rak's death on his SNS, and many fans' memorial service continues. 

The last broadcast of the deceased is KBS 1TV'Gay Stage', which appeared in February. The vacancy is in Room 202 of the funeral hall of Konkuk University Hospital, at 12:30 pm on the 29th.
