On August 26, Hu Guohua, a villager in Tianli Village, Wangcun Town, Xiuning County, Anhui Province, found a huge wild baby fish in his fish pond. Then he and his family called the police for instructions on how to reset it. After receiving the police, the police rushed to Hu Guohua's house to check.

After preliminary judgment, this baby fish has a wide mouth and a flat tail, a gray back, and a piece of brown pattern on it. It is about 4 years old and is in good physical condition. It meets the conditions for release.

Afterwards, the police accompanied Hu Guohua and took the baby fish to the river to release the animals. The police gave a thumbs up for Hu Guohua's behavior in protecting wild animals.

The scientific name of the giant salamander is a second-level national protected amphibian wild animal, which requires extremely high water quality.

The police reminded that with the improvement of the ecological environment, there will be more and more wild and aquatic protected animals. It is hoped that people who discover or accidentally catch protected animals, please contact the relevant departments as soon as possible for timely rescue and proper disposal.
