Okayama Prefecture announced that women in their 80s living in Tamano City were confirmed to be newly infected with the new coronavirus.
The total number of confirmed infections in Okayama Prefecture was 143.
Okayama Prefecture will hold a press conference at 3:00 pm to explain.
