By monopolizing the first places in the videos that hit every week, yououtubers are making a name for themselves and appearing as the next generation of YouTube, after the generation launched by Norman and Cyprien.

The story of Team Croûton (also called “the Croutons”, quite simply) starts with those who are currently the two rising stars of the YouTube Game. During a game of Fortnite broadcast live, Michou and Inoxtag form a new team which then has no name. The bulb lights up instantly on the side of Inoxtag, which finds the idea of ​​“Crouton” thanks to its friend's nickname, “Michoucroute”. Little by little, the group grows over lives and conferences. Since then, the two 18-year-old videographers have been joined by Valouzz, Lebouseuh, Doc Jazy, Dobby, Deujna and Pidi.

Fortnite , friendship maker

It is the love of video games that unites this group of young people aged 18 to 28. Most of them forge friendships through live shows, mostly on Fortnite . By investing in the game at the time of its release, they are surfing from the start on the wave of the phenomenon to come (as a reminder, more than 250 million users have already played it). Michou, the headliner of Team Croûton, for example goes from 50,000 to one million subscribers in one year thanks to the games he broadcasts live on his YouTube channel.

Like the generation before them, YouTubers try their hand at other kinds of videos over time. In August 2019, Inoxtag released a music video to celebrate its million subscribers. Result: its counter now displays 40 million views. A year later, Michou also launches his summer hit. A little criticized (Michou admits it himself) his song "In the club" still approaches 20 million readings. Proof that Team Croûton is here to last, Michou and Inoxtag joined Talent Web this year, the talent pool of the Webedia group. The way to become as powerful as Mcfly and Carlito or Cyprien seems already cleared.
