Typhoon'Babi', which was rapidly heading north along the west sea, landed near Ongjin Peninsula, Hwanghae-do at around 5:30 pm.

The Meteorological Administration predicted that the typhoon will continue to travel north-north-east and penetrate Pyongan Island, North Korea.

As typhoons rise to the North Korean region, the whole country is gradually moving out of the sphere of influence.

In particular, all typhoon warnings on Jeju Island, Jeonnam and South Seas have been lifted.

However, the Meteorological Administration predicted that Seoul, Gyeonggi, and other regions in the Midwest and Jeonbuk would be affected by typhoons penetrating North Korea by morning.

As of 5 o'clock, typhoon warnings remain in Incheon, Gyeonggi west coast, Chungnam west coast, and Jeonbuk west coast, and typhoon warnings are issued in Seoul, Gyeonggi inland, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong inland and Jeonbuk inland.

The Meteorological Administration predicted that strong winds at a maximum speed of 30 to 40 m per second will be instantaneously blown by the morning of today (27th), and strong winds at a maximum of 20 to 30 m per second are expected to blow in other central inland areas.

There will be a very high wave of up to 8m in the west sea.

On the south and west coasts, there will be high waves.

The Meteorological Administration also predicted that although the nation will gradually escape from the effects of typhoons, it will rain all over the country by tomorrow due to the impact of pressure valleys.

By tomorrow, the predicted rainfall will be between 50 and 200 mm in the Gyeongnam and North Gyeongsang Provinces, the Jeollanam-do coast and Jeju Island, and 30 to 80 mm in the Central and Honam and Gyeongbuk regions.
